Will Patty Duke revise her role as Aunt Eller?
ReplyDeleteI hope that this is a serious question - if not . . . give it up already! The 'Patty Duke' joke was not funny the first time - nor is it funny now. Anna is a talented actress and kind woman. She has spent too many years of her life working hard to be the subject of some pitiful attempt at a joke about her involvement with a community theatre. Civic would be lucky to have Anna reprise her role, but there are plenty of local actresses who would also do a fantastic job with the part.

ReplyDeleteI am always serious when I ask if she will be doing local theater. I am a huge fan and would love to see her more often.
