The last time I formally solicited suggestions, a number of people who go to quite a bit of theater mentioned children's shows and college and high school shows. Go ahead and suggest, but other than the occasional college show like the very good Big Love at EWU Bobo didn't see any such productions this year.
Add the Lake City Playhouse production of "The Nerd". It put the Civic's effort to shame. D.J. Edmiston should get Actor of the Year award for his performance as the title character.
ReplyDeleteLake City did The Nerd as well.
ReplyDeleteLake City Playhouse also produced the following shows:
ReplyDeleteForever Plaid
A Little Princess
Biloxi Blues
The Nerd
Steel Magnolias
The missing shows for Lake City Playhouse are:
ReplyDeleteThe Little Princess
Steel Magnolias
Forever Plaid
The Nerd
Thank you!
The missing Ignite! Community Theatre shows are:
ReplyDeleteThe Mousetrap
Harvey
Plaza Suite
See How They Run
All very well recieved by those who attended.
If anybody should get the Actor of the Year Award it's Carter J Davis for his incredible performance in Humble Boy. The guy out-shined an Oscar winner and made me cry. Not an easy thing to do.
ReplyDeleteThat kid's going places and we should salute his work.
